Car Modifications for Women

  • Car Modifications for Women

You are unique, and your car should reflect that. Chances of uniqueness when buying a car are slim as you're picking one out of thousands of the same model but yours can stand out. Car modifications have been popular since the early '70s, some seen as ridiculously ridiculous and some sleek and stylish but one thing they all have in common? They make your car stand out. This month, we've identified a few touches that can embed your personality onto your car without denting your budget. You can give your car the girly-girl look you feel it lacks or challenge the stereotypes and show your versatility by adding sports accessories to your car.

1. Seat covers: If you're a mother, you'll know that these are as necessary as they are an aesthetic. Seat covers protect your seats from permanent stains but can also transform the interior of your car. The fact that you can change them as often as you'd like also adds to the benefits - have a leather-look car this year and turn it into a pink panther the next.

2. Phone holder: Most older cars do not have a space designated for our cellphones. Phone holders come in handy when navigating or taking a peek at your notifications with minimal distraction. These come in various colours and details and are an easy and inexpensive way to add some personality to your car's interior.

3. Steering wheel cover: This one might be a little outdated, but it has been common. There's a variety of these available and they can serve many purposes, e.g. increased grip and protecting the material on your steering wheel from wearing out. This is another easy DIY trick to adding some spark to your ride.

4. Personalized registration plates: 4 KATE EC, U H8N EC, 2 KUL GP? No trend has survived the times more than this one has. Nothing announces your car like a registration plate that's different from the rest. You can choose anything (name or number sequence) that's of significance to you, to make your car different from the rest and to give it some personality.

5. Car wraps: If you want a new colour for your vehicle but cannot afford a paint job, a car wrap is an excellent alternative. They are available in many colours and patterns and sure make your vehicle stand out. Another upside? Completely removable so if you get bored easily, you can give your car as many different looks as you want. It's like playing dress-up but for your car.

6. Tinted windows: Stay anonymous, stay protected from UV-rays, protect your windows with smash-and-grab while giving your car a facelift, or is it a bumper lift? Please, we highly recommend smash-and-grab tint for your car, for obvious reasons.

These are only a few of many modifications you can do to make your car more personal and turn heads everywhere you go.
