Michael McNaughton purchased Market Square Volkswagen (then known as Kelly Volkswagen) with the assistance of two partners in 1996.
The dealership was born from humble beginnings and began trading on the 1st June 1996 with 3 new cars in stock, one demo, 1 salesperson and 2 used cars. Today the dealership sells over 80 New and Mastercars a month, services around 40 cars a day and employs just over 90 staff.
In 2012 the Kelston Motor Group invested substantially in the Kariega Metro by developing a new state of the art dealership and relocated the branch from the centre of town to Algoa Road. In celebrating our 20 year anniversary we are delighted to share that we have three staff that have celebrated this milestone with us namely Clive Oosterhuizen, Louis Du Plessis and Wilson Dwane.
